The Eight Days of Cookies! YAY! For the next 8 days, including today, I will be posting cookie recipes that I am whipping up for the holidays. Christmas is my favorite baking time of the year because I make a zillion baked goods and give them out to friends and family. I personally do not like to settle for one type, so I always opt for multiple varieties. I hope you enjoy this cookie series and that you find these recipes useful for the holidays 😀
Food blogging is an odd thing. I make up recipes, take ridiculous amounts of photos of them, write stories about them, and tell you how amazing each recipe is and that it is the greatest thing you will ever eat. I also yell at you to, “make this NOW!” and offer little explanation other than promising that it is a taste bud foodgasm.
This recipe is no different.
This recipe for chocolate chip cookies is the world’s most amazing chocolate chip recipe. No, not just because I wrote it, but because I have tested it out numerous times on many people and they all claim these cookies to be, “The World’s Most Amazing Chocolate Chip Cookies.” They are soft, chewy, chocolately, and everything you expect from a perfect cookie. I am not kidding when I say that these are the best cookies I have ever made. Period.
Cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy:
Add pudding mix, vanilla, and applesauce and blend.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to wet ingredients in two batches:
Scrape sides of bowl down and fold in chocolate chips:
