These posts usually involve my favorite fashion finds that I’m swooning over but today it is all about currently coveting kitchen items!
Happy Saturday and St. Patrick’s Day, friends! We’ve been super productive over here this morning so far. We woke up and went for a quick run. Micah is into the whole “I like to run thing” whereas I would rather lift something heavy, do some funky yoga poses, and throw a little HIIT in there. Regardless, with Puma strapped around his belt and me on their heels we went for a glorious quick one mile run. Micah decided I was too slow and wanted to keep going. Great, thanks babe. His strides are two feet long each and I’m supposed to keep up with my 5’5 legs? Haha. After our run we grabbed a quick breakfast at Beans & Barley and then headed to the farmers market at Mitchell Domes. Loved the location of this farmers market and the fact that it’s in a huge greenhouse. I picked up sweet corn, maple syrup, tricolor carrots, three types of potatoes, soup, and eggs. After dropping everything off at home we took Puma to the dog park to run energy out of her. Thankfully she didn’t turn into a giant mud ball like she did the other day. If you’re wondering what I’m talking about just check out my Instagram for a hilarious photo of Puma.
Anyway, these posts usually involve something fashion related (are you tired of that yet?) but today I decided to switch it up and fill you in on a few swoon-worthy finds. I know I’m not alone on this one in the food blog world but I could seriously shop for kitchen goods all day everyday.
That Smeg kettle? Oh, if you haven’t heard of Smeg you need to do some major Googling right now. They have a vintage vibe to them but are oh so pretty!
Flour sack towels? Heck YES. This is the way to my paper-towel-hating heart folks. Did you know the average paper towel can’t be recycled? Think about that for a second and how much waste that produces! I use kitchen towels for everything and need these flour sacks in my life asap. Reusable, environmentally friendly, and perfect as a photo prop.
Is Heath Ceramics new to you? They were to me, that is until I fell down the rabbit hole and spent a good chunk of time drooling over their ceramics. So f’ing pretty.
Is there anything West Elm does wrong? Far from it I would say. This beaker is satisfying the inner lab nerd and foodie that I am. It’s perfect that it has different measurements printed also.
Lastly, shell tipped flatware. Heck freaking yes Anthropologie. Absolutely gorgeous pearl shells and the knives are even better. Get in my food photos NOW.
Are there any kitchen finds I need to know about? Let me know in the comments below!
