Daily Greens Fresh Juice (Giveaway)

*Disclaimer: I was provided a 7-day juice package from Daily Greens to try.  All opinions are my own.

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

I am so thrilled to be writing this review because as you may know I LOVE fresh green juice.  Nothing wakes me up in the morning more than my favorite fruits and vegetables pressed into liquid form.  Drinking green juice is such a great way to jumpstart your day by packing many servings of fruits and vegetables in a portable and easy-to-eat form.  Forget chewing, drink your nutrients!

Daily Greens is a company based out of Austin, TX and was founded by a woman named Shauna Martin.  Shauna has been clear of breast cancer for 8 years and counting and she attributes her health to incorporating fresh green juice into her daily life.  You may read more of Shauna’s story here.

These juices are different than a typical juice cleanse where you solely drink green juice and water and nothing else.  The Daily Greens juice cleanse recommends to incorporate warm lemon water every morning, 3 juices during the day, and a raw vegan dinner at night.  Their New Years Cleanse is a great way to jump start your New Year’s resolution: New Year’s Juice Cleanse

And can we talk about pricing?!  Seriously, the best I have seen out there for such quality ingredients.

4 pack – $40 (a taste of 4 juices you pick)

7 pack – $70 (1 green juice every morning)

12 pack – $120 (4 day juice cleanse, 3 juices per day)

Unreal.  I am easily obsessed.  Now, onto the juices!

When the juices were delivered they arrived with cold packs, and in-spite of being left outside in the 80 degree Phoenix winter heat, the juices were still perfectly cold when I brought them inside.

When I pulled out the juices I was so excited by just the packaging alone.

And the make it easy for nutrition geeks like myself to survey the nutritional content of the juice.

9 servings?!  YES, PLEASE!

Now I know all of you are dying the know what they taste like!

The first juice I tried was Harmony:

The first flavor I noticed was the fennel, which I personally love.  The peppery flavor of the fennel was cut down by the sweetness of the apples and pears.  Harmony has an slight bite from the ginger which I am obsessed with.  I personally always add a nub of ginger to my fresh juice when I juice at home.
Next juice was Renew:
I was unbelievably excited to try Renew because, seriously, look at that ingredient list! Watermelon, cucumber, pineapple, lime…hello, tropical paradise!  That is exactly what this juice is.  The himalayan pink salt does not make the juice salty, but only heightens the flavor profiles of each ingredient.  With any other greens besides spinach and dandelion, I do not believe the flavors would have stuck out as much.  The first flavor I noticed was the mint.  It is not overpowering as in some other juices I have tried, but it is definitely there.  This juice is so refreshing and I pictured myself stock-piling it for the summer here in Phoenix when it is 120 degrees outside.
Next up is Vitality:
Vitality has a great story behind it.  Shauna, the founder of Daily Greens, wanted to create a juice that would please even the pickiest meat-eater out there.  Being from Austin, her inspiration grew from Austin BBQ.  Vitality was born out of this idea with its familiar BBQ flavors such as jalapeño, cilantro, and lime.  Vitality is a kick to your tastebuds but is certainly is not overpowering.  Even if you are not a huge fan of spicy foods or juices, you will LOVE this juice.  The cucumber and pineapple balance out the spicy kick from the jalapeño and only make it a subtle spice.  One word, YUM!
Lastly, the last juice I tried was Purity:
Purity reminded me so much of the green juice I make at home.  The lemon and cucumber are the strongest notes in this juice, but then there is this hint of something that you can’t quite put your finger on…BASIL.  This was such a delicious addition and I plan to add basil to all of my homemade green juices.  So refreshing with the cucumber as well and so smooth.
The verdict?
Daily Greens offers delicious and tasty fresh juice in a portable form that is so convenient to everyday life.  The ingredient combinations are perfect, the price is affordable, and the energy after drinking a juice is unmatched.
