Christmas Spirit

Christmas came and went and I still have all of my decorations up.  Don’t judge me, I don’t plan on taking them down anytime soon.  Christmas is my favorite holiday and I am always so sad when it is over.  Christmas represents traditions and family, and if you are in my family, lots of wine and laughs.

This year I completely revamped all of my Christmas decorations.  Starting with the outside of our Brownstone, I wrapped garland with red bows and hung icicle lights.

The front door held a gold ribboned wreath with pinecones and pears wrapped inside.
And the inside railing to the second floor was wrapped with a lit garland and red bows:

The first decoration noticed on the second floor is this adorable Christmas banner I assembled with printed chalkboard font that I glued to cardboard cutouts and hung with burlap ribbon:

And next is the stockings with a giant snowflake:

Lastly, the beautiful tree that I revamped to colors white and silver.  I purchased faux large lilies from Michaels and planted them all over the tree.

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

Do you have any Christmas traditions?
