Tomorrow morning I leave for San Francisco to attend Outside Lands! It’s my first vacation all year (that’s not normal, trust me) so you can imagine how pumped I am to get out. I need to beat the heat of Arizona and escape to the wonderland that is San Francisco. Outside Lands is a music festival that takes place in August every year in the middle of Golden Gate Park.
This is who will be performing this weekend:
Those artists play on main stages, while Heineken hosts a party in The Dome. It’s a massive dome that encases different DJs throughout the day, and a projector projects images and lights all over the inside of the dome to create a 3D effect. Throughout the day there are also comedy shows. Outside Lands has it all, constant entertainment.
It is not just music, Taste of the Bay is also there, meaning delicious food everywhere from different restaurants in SF! Last year I am pretty sure that I ate the same plantain and black bean burrito every single day because it was just that good.
Last but not least, there is WINE LANDS!!!

A MASSIVE tent holds over 30 different wineries’ wines from California. That cylinder in the back is a giant wine barrel that about 20 people can fit in. That picture does not do wine lands justice, it is huge. Wine, amazing music, tasty food, in the middle of a forest in beautiful and peaceful San Francisco!? DONE.
This is a glimpse of how many people attend:
That is the hill you cross over to get to another stage.
I’m looking forward to having an amazing time with these people:
My two sisters and our friend Yoni. We actually met Yoni last year at Outside Lands which is crazy because that is who we are staying with this year. It’s so convenient that we have someone to stay with because this was our night, every single night.
That my friends is a inside look at everyone from Outside Lands being packed like sardines on Muni. How creepy is the guy who photo bombed my pic!
I will try to post from San Francisco from my iPad, depending if our friend has WiFi.
